Who we are ?
AIISCA is an autonomous Dalit movement organization founded on 16 July 2023 . We firmly believe in creating an independent cadre-based movement and nurturing leadership at both the grassroots and national levels. Taking into account the unique issues and problems faced by Dalit communities in different states, we are working towards establishing state-level bodies all over India.
What we do ?
As an Autonomous Dalit Movement, we are driven by the goal of empowering and uplifting Dalit communities across regions and religions. We strive to challenge the deeply ingrained caste-based discriminations and inequalities that have persistently marginalized Dalits for generations. Our movement stands for the assertion of Dalit identity, dignity, and rights, while fostering unity and solidarity among Dalit individuals and communities.
Key area of focus
Grassroots Mobilization
We firmly believe that change begins at the grassroots level. As such, we actively engage in grassroots mobilization efforts, collaborating with Dalit communities to identify their unique needs and challenges.
Advocacy and Awareness
One of our primary objectives is to raise awareness about the systemic challenges faced by Dalits due to caste-based discrimination. We aim to sensitize the public to the enduring impact of casteism.
Political Engagement
To effect lasting change, we recognize the significance of political engagement. Our movement advocates for Dalit representation in political spheres and works to strengthen the political voice of Dalits.
Solidarity and Collaboration
Unity is the cornerstone of our movement. We actively seek alliances with other social justice movements, organizations, and individuals that share our vision of equality and justice.
Cultural Revival and Empowerment
We celebrate Dalit culture and heritage, recognizing the richness and diversity it brings to the world. Our movement endeavors to promote cultural revival, preserving traditional knowledge, arts, and customs.
